OCT Vision
AS-OCT · Contact lens fitting

Measure the gap between lens and cornea.

OCT Vision segments anterior-segment OCT scans and measures clearance along the whole lens, so fitting irregular corneas stops being guesswork.

What it does

From raw scan to a clearance profile, in one pass.

Automated segmentation

Corneal and lens surfaces are detected with CLAHE enhancement, Canny edges and morphological grouping, then smoothed with least-squares polynomial fits.

OCT scan used for automated segmentation

Two ways to measure

Vertical sagittal gap for fitting, or minimum Euclidean distance for safety. Switch with one click.

Zonal and shape metrics

Central versus peripheral clearance, symmetry index and estimated anterior curvature, calculated for you.

Interactive thickness profile

Slide across the scan and read clearance at any position. Export an annotated report as an image.

Method

Four stages, all open source.

  1. 01

    Preprocessing

Contrast enhancement with CLAHE and noise reduction.

  2. 02

    Segmentation

Canny edge detection and morphological grouping.

  3. 03

    Surface fitting

Polynomial models of the corneal and lens curves.

  4. 04

    Computation

Vertical and minimum Euclidean distances along the lens.

Try it on a real case, no setup needed.

The app ships with a library of clinical demo scans. Pick one and start measuring.
